Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding processing costs
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: £50 for credit card transactions
Conditions: Must be requested via written communication such as email or phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the total charge of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: £25 taken from the refund
Conditions: A legitimate reason is needed; administrative fees apply
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No refund offered
Exception: Emergency situations may be taken into account
Alternative: A charter credit could be provided at the discretion of our management
Conditions: Emergency claims must be substantiated with documentation
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
The safety of our patrons is our utmost concern. Should our certified captain determine the weather as unsafe for charter operations, we offer these flexible options:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't feasible, a complete refund is provided
- Reschedule: Alter the date of your charter to an available slot without additional charges
- Charter Credit: A voucher valid for one year from the original date of charter is issued
Weather Assessment Process
The assessment for weather includes:
- Evaluating wind directions and speeds
- Considering wave heights and marine conditions
- Forecasting visibility and precipitation
- Heeding Coast Guard advisories and alerts
- A safety analysis by a professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are concluded at least 4 hours before the departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We recognize that medical urgencies can arise. Situations that may warrant special refund considerations include:
- Acute illnesses or injuries necessitating hospital admission
- A death within the immediate family
- Unexpected military deployment or urgent recall
- Summoned for jury duty or court orders
- Natural calamities hampering travel
Documentation Requirements
For consideration of emergency refund requests, the following proofs are required:
- A medical statement or hospital records
- A death notice, if relevant
- Formal military commands
- Court summons or jury notification
- Notices of travel disturbances or state of emergencies
Processing: Refunds for emergencies are completed within 3-5 business days after receiving proper evidence.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
In the event of mechanical issues with the assigned boat that cannot be fixed:
- Alternative Vessel: Efforts will be made to provide a similar replacement
- Full Refund: Issued when no appropriate substitute is available
- Partial Refund: Given when the alternative boat has differing rates
- Compensation: Possible additional recompense for the inconvenience
Crew Unavailability
In the rare instance of an uncertified crew being unavailable:
- A substitute crew will be sought when feasible
- A complete refund will be provided if the charter cannot proceed
- Options to reschedule without incurring extra charges
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds are credited back to the original mode of payment utilized for the reservation:
- Credit Cards: Refunded within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Refunded within 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Refunded within 3-5 business days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
A fee of £50 applies for cancellations done beyond 72 hours prior
Bank Transfer Processing
A fee of £25 is incurred for all refunds through bank transfers
International Processing
Extra charges may be applicable for international dealings
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Credits for a charter may be provided as an alternative to a refund under certain situations:
- Late cancellation notices (within less than 24 hours)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Voluntary rescheduling by the client
- Disturbances in operations
Credit Terms
- Validity: Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Value: Reflects the full cost of the charter (processing fees not included)
- Usage: Applicable towards any available charter
- Expiration: No extension is granted beyond the 12-month period
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
Should your charter experience interruption or get cut short due to reasons we are accountable for:
- A refund that's proportional to the unused duration
- Credit for a future charter of similar value
- Additional services or upgrades offered with compliments
Guest-Related Interruptions
In cases where a charter is prematurely halted due to guest behavior or safety infractions:
- No reimbursement for the unutilized time
- The full payment is still expected
- Additional fees might be levied
Dispute Resolution
If there's disagreement with a refund decision made, you can:
- Ask for our management team to reassess your application
- Offer extra proof or documentation to fortify your case
- Seek help through consumer protection bodies
- Engage in legal proceedings as per the governing laws

Step 3: Review and Processing
Our staff acknowledges your application within 24 hours, appraises it in relation to this policy, delivers a verdict in 48 hours, and processes affirmed reimbursements within the designated periods.
Important Notes
- All refund queries must be lodged in written form
- Repayments are carried out in £ notwithstanding the initial currency of payment
- A strong recommendation is made for purchasing travel insurance
- This policy could be modified with a notice period of 30 days
- Refunds are subject to the prevailing taxes and regulations
